well when you have a huge gaping hole in a structural part of the car, normally accepted practice is to weld in some new metal, not just pack it with filler! |

they cannot hit the exterior panel of a car with a hammer in the mot. If the arch looks right then it will pass. only the under they can hit with the hammer. |

When I was 17 I had a mk1 fiesta, 1979 bright aqua blue, Lowered XR2 kit on (As you do) the drivers sill rotted throgh from the top and kept filling with water, so before I sold it, I filled it with newspaper then, fillered over the top and hand srayed it.
Oh the mishaps of mis-spent youth eh? |

I stuffed a tesco bag into the blue energies chassis rail on the inner front arch where it had holed, chucked grease on it then mud, passed 3 mot's like that. |

oo ya basts, and theres me actually welding bits in!!!
mind i have a foot and a half long hole on the underside of the sill now....its hudden under the skirt, so only i really knwo its there....i should do it..
but i dont need a poll to find out if i can be arsed or not, seein as i just got 12 months mot on it! |
