well today i changed the wing, but on removing the sideskirt i find 2 holes, one the size of a golf ball and the other i could get both hands in, i dont have pics of them because the batterys where on charge, but i do have pics after the work was finished, check it out
i used the old wing for the welding repairs |

hehe i've not removed my side skirts yet, too scared about what horrors i may find under them . .
but i got a cheap set of prima racing side skirts from ebay, just need painting, so when i am ready to fit them, the horrors will be unveiled.
As you have had the wing off, i can ask you how easy it is, i want to change both my front wings on my ph2 so how easy was it? lol |

yep thats fine mate pop over whenever you like, there will be a cupa waiting
the wing only takes 10 mins to get off and that includes the sideskirt, the worst place for rust is the screw hols that hold the top of the sideskirt on, when i pulled mine off it took half of the car body with it so the whole day was taken up by cutting and welding. |

iv adjusted the picture so it is easyer to see how big the hole was
after i finished i went along the whole sil with underbody sealer, i would also recomend that anyone replcing a wing to underbody seal the iner wing once the original wing has been removed, also do the bottom of the new wing, as you will see when you take the old one off it will be full of mud and other crap, its a nice little place for rust to start. |

is it the trip computer not working or the bulb itself ?
did you check all the other electricals in the car ,digi clock, mirrors ,interior lights etc.
huw intrument panel does not require dash removal mate,i do it even without taking the steering wheel out in half an hour if i may say so myself |

Yeah, it does, its an LCD, but there are 2 bulbs behind it to iluminate it, you should still be able to see it though even it they have blown. |
