well yesterday I tried to sort the electric whine it had, so i got a new auxillary belt, and boy is that a job to fit!
but the whine still hasnt gone, it seems to be coming from the a/c compressor. |

get the kettle out, engine running pour water in the general area of the ac compressor. See if that shuts it up. Listen carefully to sewe if it is that or if its somethign else that gets wet on the way round.
You'll know what I mean when you do it. |

right, well nothing changed with the water, but i then got the polish out and sprayed that upwards from under the car an its got quieter. |

well its got louder agine now, im going to try and put it on the ramp tomoorow at work and have a good look/spray some oil on it |

its been lowered 35mm on apex springs, handles alot better, the pics dont really show how much its been lowered. |

lol, yes, but its awful, the A39 a 60mph limit on the road outside, my nextdoor neighbours CR got written off as he pulled off from his drive and was smacked up the back. but yes just down the road is my airfield if you know what i mean. |

My 172's hadnt had the gearbox oil changed for a while
it came out like water!

Its now filled with auto box fluid, and the gear changes are sooo much better |
