Ok thanks alot least i have some ideas on what to look for now and how to test the valve.

| I dunno mate i assume he kept the existing throttle body and simply swapped them over. Seeing as the wires are so delicate it wouldnt of taken much for them to get damaged. The thing is thou is that t ... |

ok well the socket for the plugs is the throttle body heater then. The wires with no insulation are they known to cause similar problems to what my friend is experiencing?
