AE pistons were avauilable from AE a few months back, I can't see there being a sudden big demand for them and them running out.
Get another engine use the best pistons out of them all.

So we can't just put 2 liter pistons in? that's a pitty. The reason why we came up with that is because the 1.8 pistons are not available from ae?? So what should i do then??? Because i don't want to ... |

Well today i brought my good engine in for a rebuild. I had everything stripped so he could take a look immidiatly so he took everything out of the underblock which all looked very good. Besides that ... |

Depending.... from pressing and not coming back at all to pressing them and coming back to slowly or have more then 2mm free play |

Well all worked out perfect in the end! I had 32 tappets to start with. After cleaning and refilling I tested 13 to be perfect and 10 to be completely dead. The rest was so so, so i used the 13 good o ... |

there are 16 bolts holding the rocker cover on, the outer 8 are at 24nm and the inner 8 are at 10nm
Hmm well i always did those by hand no problems a well but that wasn't what i wanted to know what ... |

I don't have the wiring in my head here but is a very common problem as stated and the stalk don't come near the wiring of the taillights so the stalk can't really be the problem of the taillights dim ... |
