after getting engine mount sorted dropd it off to my brothers (the new owner fo this car)
took down quick fit for oil change parkd up went to start and the starter is ...

its a reno 19 chamade;-(

both cras were phase 2s i think one was a j reg other k not too sure both engines had std ecus only thing i can think of is engine that is now in car had a de cat on it and now i am running std exhaus ...

i did think to swap the ecus but figured both my cars are phase 2s so they would be same.

found out that the engine mount on the drivers side is perishd.
all bolts are in there so the engine has s ...

engine mount is torn on drivers side;-( guna fit another one 2m;-)

now for my hunting idle? suck in loads of air and hunts on idle if you dont rev it;-( any ideas?

just found a bolt in my driveway and now have engine play, suspect that an engine mount has come loose, guys who fited engine have done a quality job ;-(

I paid sum guys Â£150 to take my engine out and fit one that i had on floor, not incuding fuids, anyways they done it all but they snapd the bolt that goes to to downpipe from manifold.

sound in that case im fitting new battery in a bit then take it for a quick spin;-)

tourning 19 16valve, thats reasuring to know the noise goes it sounds like a knock then a screech but realy hardcore.never heard anything like this in my life;-)

will the dust go on the dry starter after a while, and will it damage anything as im due to sell this car to my brother for -Â£300 profit lol dont want it breaking on him thoe.
