No, it definitely has an immobiliser. Maybe someone has removed the LED. I'll have to look more closely at the wiring. Thanks for the help.

That is what i thought, but the only light on the switch is the one that comes on when you switch on the head lights. I pulled the switch apart and there is only one set of wires.
