check the oil cooler that sits between the two banks. its an oil-water cooler and they rot. its a known problem on the v6's

dont run a tin sumped F7P with an ally sumped box, as you will screw up the gearbox and flywheel! as you can only bolt the box up round the top, under the weight and stresses of torque the box loosen ...

yes indeed! i used emery cloth and wd40 as a lubricant. worked a treat, all pots gave me 230psi on my rebuilt willy lump after 10k miles. never missed a beat

its in perfect condition. has been cleaned up ready for refitment, but i never got round to it. doesnt need pressure testing, as theres never been any headgasket or overheating problems.

well the rubber pipe is really soft, so ive cut sections out and inserted some stainless pipe. does the job ok, tho im going for a full samco kit when i can afford it.

yes it was i. i actually used emery cloth and wd40 as lube to break the glaze. worked a treat, gave 225-230psi across across all 4 cylinders.

u can use a willy manifold on a 19 16v. but ul need a williams downpipe as well. i fitted one to my F7R powered 19 and it sucked power big time. waste of time and effort. stick to a 4-2-1 affair
