u huh, i know wot (I mean what really) u mean mate... would be a wise move to do a re-build n e way... i think it cost just over Â£1000

a company called port-formance did a re-build on one... and as far as i know the engine has lasted a very long time on 18psi boost... with a bigger turbo on it aswell...

will give them a ring wen ...

just found out... after speaking to loads of lads and a volvo specialist... that you do not need a re-build to reach 200bhp... but as long as i get the purple ECU... i can chip it to get 200bhp with 1 ...

lol... yes i was a tow bar fitter... i then quit and went to work for a garage called tegfryn in malltraeth in anglesey... if you want, you can check up on that.... seeing as you mak ...

coz wen everythin is done to it.. it pushed 200bhp without even turni ...

aint really going to cost a lot of money. if the engine mounts are the same, then it shouldnt be a problem putting the new engine in...

there is pleanty of room to work with in the megane engine b ...

i have acctualy.... kept the car off the road for 6 weeks now... saved up enough money to buy a 480... and insure it wen its finished...

the reason y i am doing the conversion... is.... a recon meg ...

i thought the drive shafts might need altering... and seeing as i am lowering 80mm... they wud need altering really to take the extra stress..

so how much max power cud i get frm the volvo??? i ha ...

ok cool, so is it much hassle getting it to work then??? or is it pretty straight foreward for an auto electritian to do???

i know of someone who can do me a custom exhaust from down pipe back for ...

could i get around the imobiliser,, and fit a clifford alarm instead???

i really cant be bothered with the hassle..

i thought the imobiliser was in the ECU... because with the imobiliser active... i can still turn the engine over
