i replaced the rocker cover gasket with a new one... old one was a b*****d to remove... ended up leaving a nice trail of blood from the slice i got from the blade..
going to clean out the TB tonigh ... |

Hi All
I set the valve clearances on my 1.6 8v megane last night... its as quiet as a mouse 0.102mm for inlet and 0.287 for exhaust  ....
BUT
the car seems to struggle to idle now :c ... |

| Quite unlikely it would have survived... its an interferance type engine... your best of going to a breakers and buying a second hand engine for about £200... buy a genuine timing belt from Reno.. fi ... |

u really dont have a clue.. 200bhp without upping boost..... how do you propose to make a 1.7 engine running about half a bar of boost 200bhp???
