I just had a thought - might the cable have stretched to the point where the adjuster can no longer keep it tight enough? Does this even happen?

i recently changed my column and iirc the indents for the indicator cancelling are on the column itself, not the wheel, so if you realign the wheel then you might get tired of having to keep cancellin ... |
