I can select gears but its difficult once the car warms up and reverse grinds in. they are okish when the car is ... |

wat do u mean string thing?
do u mean take the current cable of the pedal tie the string to both the new one and old one and then jus pull it through? |

sorry if this sound silly but can you not just put a heat sheet around the airfilter or box?

i had an oil change at formuler one its the top castrol oil im not sure what weight it is, but its stopped now, ive been driving it all day and not a tick.
