Kilmarnock mate, I just dont have time to totally fix/break it whatever, got the new gasket etc as well. Half a years MOT as well.. Taxed til end of June - It's taking up space though!

The had Gasket WILL fry at some point (unless it's been done).

The cooling system is tiny, meaning the least little thing will cause it to go.

I have a 1.6 16v megane. Found the tensioner etc, but cant access it... even with the engine lifted by a far whack.

Will the tensioner move at all if i cut off ...

When selecting (specifically 3rd) it likes to crunch a bit and is a tad resistant.

Check your engine mounts, they're prone to causing a noise if worn/not tight.
