well since purchasing the 19 3 year ago the aim was to keep it standard.
and all is going well
i went to see another 19(turned out to be a complete shitter!!) but it had the standard radio cassette in it and speakers..dont know why but i think the standard deck looks funky
so i was thinking of geting one..the only thing is all my musics on cd and was wandering if i could get hold of a cd autochanger that would hook up to it??..just another thing for me to ponder about |

Yeah I also want to use a CD changer with the r19 stalk controls... anyone know if such a thing exists, or if the remote controls on the r19 are a standard fit? |

Yes such a thing exists, my 2000 laguna has a renault headunit and cd changer installed and it has the exact same remote control as my R19 has |

Thanks. This bodes well, the combination of r19 remote and cd changer is getting me far more excited than it probably should! |

Standard deck is suprisingly cool actually, it's just that most of my music is on CD now and I don't think i can stand chris moyles much longer!!!
Dying to get CD up and running in the 19, hopefully with the remote controls |

this is what you need
not no standard shitty renault effort
goes with most sony sterios and conects the sony to the renault remote so of course cd,md,dvd tv's basically anything can go in then as you no so limited on features

The more expansive the sony radio the worse they are. I bought the bottom of the range one and it was great. i also had an expensive one and it was shite |

pioneer is the best to go for, lasts for years, decent power, cheapish, get a good kick from them, the cd won't skip as you go off the road up an embankment and take out 20 foot of fencing. |

i also recommend pioneer....... i had a combo set up for years (radio+tape, +cd multi changer) put it in the g/f's car, and she managed to get shite all over the removeable front when she put it in the carry case, and left it in the car in the 'heatwave' we had, of course the protective padding inside the case melted didn't it !!!! she aint getting anymore off me....
