well George and I went for a walk yesterday.
Right up tot the top of Arthurs Seat in edinburgh. 250.5metres high it was. And damn was it windy.
the very bottom looking up to the old thingymabobber, thats George, big ears give him away.
natural pond thingy filled with swans
females
the building we looked up at in the 1st pic, from the 1600's
from the doorway of the ruin lookign out over edinburgh
looking down from the ruin on that natural pond
looking out again from the ruin over edinburgh and to fife in th edistance
looking towards the new parliment and the city centre
further up the hill
even the camera felt the cold thus the blur!
nuclear bomb went off in fife, lol nice pic though
see the hexagonal building building? Thats a library!
getting near the top now
on the hill in the distance you can see the dry ski slope
ohh pretty colours
might be the top not sure
drunks at the peak, only in scotland
George
me looking terrible, damn I have got fat! Notice the bru!
George posing, my pose was better but it got deleted
George struggling to stand up due to the wind, a good 40/50 mph
doesn't look it but tjhats a near vertical drop of around 2/300 feet.
nigh on vertical to the road
climbed down a bit and took a pic of the cliff, thats how steep it is down the west side
final pic coming down in the dark
great fun it was. |

yeah but i'm only a soft southener. I think we only saw the top of cairgorm twice and that was August. still the whisky trail made up for it, probably the reason we needed the chair lift! |
