hi one part of my mot failure was o/s/r brake was not up to standars even though i had renewed both rear disks and pads earlier this year and i was wondering how to adjust them the car is a clio rsi cheers |

they do not need adjusted.
the caliper may be partially siezed.
Was the handbrake ok on it? |

i had to replace the handrake earlier this year due to it snapping i also replaced rear disks and pads other other side is fine though so the bloke said
do gsf do top mounts for shocks? |

the caliper sliders and poiston are probably sticky.
should have done both cables though, they are cheap anyway.
GSf do the rubbers and bearings, dunno abotu the spring cup itself |

sorry i meant the bearing. took the shocky out tonight and bearings spilled out know wonder the roads in paisley are shockin |

Well seen you, I am round in findhorn, I mind seeign you jump start a golf on mannering road (mrs sister lives there, her mum drives the green impreza cack model) ages back and noted it was an rsi and seen you about a few times. |

cheers chris clio has ben a nightmare this last month with the mot and the starter issue (now solved) my mate a bit of a renault buff he recently put a volvo 440 turbo single handed in his 19 cab |

just like to say mate this site is tops and helpful with the never ending probs of my renault jst a couple of questions
1- can the headlight aim be adjusted manually
2- where can i source air trunk for my car? as spits have occured
3- cone filter or standard filter not bothered on speed just drivability and mpg |

1. yes it can, theres a small spindle (plastic) that sticks up and can be turned to adjust the height, theres anothe rthats horizontal that adusts in and out.
2. Dunno but I need one for my rsi lump, they are rocking horse stuff.
3. standard is best for speed and driveability when hot, but cone for the noise and on a run the cone will be better. |
