From Ferrari to Banana in 20 easy steps. And yet that still wasn't off-topic enough for someone. Shocking behaviour. |

makes a difference at much lower speeds than that, big fuel economy booster.
As for sustatined speeds in a 19 over 100mph, erm theres a few on here that will agree that its possible on a daily basis... |

only ph2's have that issue, the ph1 has the much deeper splitter and is lower so the aerodynamics on it are better and a lot more stable at high speeds on the ph1's. |

wouldnt it be better big front small rear
as the air is forceing the front down and also going underneat and over the top small back bumper meaning more air from the top and bottom meet forcing the rear end down? |

yes the rear bumper on the ph1 is lower
and yes this is contrary to what we want.
But the side skirts on the ph1 are also deeper, so its quite close to the ground.
This helps keep air out of the underside of the body. |

Looks like the Maxi 19 had front and rear spoilers with the holes for spots filled in.

Its the wings that have been pushed out, so wider track.
No air inlet on the bonnet for the air fillter on the one in the pic. |

Ahem
The PH1 was at it's happiest at that kinda speed. Not every day mind, I would but with my luck I'd get caught. |

Thats the hole to cool down the cast exhaust manifold.
The Clio Maxi has a inlet over the air filter box.
Clic on the web page CLIO 16s MAXI and scroll down to the bottom pic. |
