Thats the joys of enclosed rear beams, only the outer is exposed, the inside is spotless, the outers need a bit of work sometimes.
I got lots of pics etc of the job and I will do that guide eventually. Will need to do a decent one on the open bar beams as well.
I will give you the trade secrets of the job since I like you, no wait thats not right... |

trade secrets, pah, spray it with loads of WD40 or that Rost Off stuff, try the socket and bolt method, if not use a slide hammer, if you can get one out, shove a bit of bar down there and belt it out from the other side, if not then give up? |

I can do that on my clio too, I do have to take the bottom bolt out of the damper tho' |

I never used any form of lube to do this and when I sort the pics out you will see how bad the nearside was! |

this is the nearside after i scraped it out, thats why theres a flake in the bolt hole
