I got this free from Motaman today so I thought I'd give it a whirl. It goes by the name of Wheel Foam and the idea is it cleans your wheels and gets rid of brake dust, grime etc. It normally retails at £4.
You spray it on, let it foam up, and I gave it the wheels a bit of a go with a sponge before all the foam fell off:

Scores as follows:
Effectiveness: 1/5
Value for money: 1/5
Smells: like shaving foam and oven cleaner
It cleaned the wheels at least as well as using a damp cloth, and a can is just enough to go around all four wheels. An ideal product for those with more money than sense who are looking for cheap thrills and think they might be saving themselves any effort.

THE VERDICT: I still can't see the point

Duno.
But I have used Armor All classic on rubber for over 30 years. (Yepp). And still find it the best.
Spray it on your tyre walls, rubber hoses. Well OK the new ones allways split from the inside anyway.
Rain X is one of my other old fart things.
good stuff. |

UPDATE: Five days on and wheels are still looking pretty clean. I'm starting to think the product might have some use, still severely doubt its £4 price tag though! |

I got a sample pack of all the armourall stuff through some months back including some car wash wipes. Bit dubious at first incase they ended up rubbing dirt into the paint but they did work quite well, looked good afterwards. |
