hi all, im currently bringing my banger ph1 16v chamade back to life, i was searching for info online and stumbled across this here forum.
very nice it is too, much better that the ones from back in the day.
ive had my 16v for about 5 years now, about 2 and a half of those were spent as my daily driver after buying it for 700 notes. bargain!
i got a new job and got sick of its, erm, 'issues' and bought myself a ST205 Celica GT4 which i still have. since then its been in a garage for about 2 years and in a bush for the rest
anyways, my girlfriends car's bust and the police were giving me hastle about my abandoned car (on private land - cunts) so i thought, why not whack it in for an mot and see what it'll cost.
i was thinking i'd be told to scrap it (especially since it still had half the bush attached when i drove it in ) but the old beast just refused to die, only needs some lights, brakes all round and a backbox! what a motor!
so thats what im doing now, fixing it for its re-test. ive also ordered a new starter and crank sensor after reading on here that thats why it doesnt start hot! got some filter cleaner for my K&N and some fresh oil and filter. i might even remove the shrubbery from the front bumper
yeah, so sorry for the novel but there you go, thats why im here.
btw, why cant i see avatars? can you see mine?

im planning on buying a standard backbox cause its going to be mainly used for traveling to aberdeen and back and the drone will just piss me off. its got a decat in already and that gives it a decent noise. |

its dark blue, the best colour
ive got some pics stashed somewhere, but just imagine a really nice blue 16v chamade, add some rust, a scrape down the back passenger side door, a bodged repair on the back wing and nice bit of shrubbery on the front grill and you'll get the picture
Amber - i went to KHS, you? |
