right, well the engine is in  ive given up for today as it was pissing me off because the alternator bolts have dissappered  but she will be taking her 1st breathes tomorrow night.
Engine going in:

Finally abit more progress tonight, alternator is on, cant put the belt on until i re-tap the crank thread as its fucked.
Fuel rail is on, fuel lines are on, inlet is back on, loom is all connected, starter heatshiled is on with a home made bracket, downpipe is on, driveshafts are in. Just filled her with oil.
All i need to do tomorrow is:-
put fuel in,
put rad in
tap the crank's thread
fill gearbox oil,
Plugs etc need to go in,
and put in the battery |

still havent got any fuel for it but tonight i connected the battery up, the ABS pump came on when the ign did (phew!) then cranked her over, and she did  so tomorrows jobs are:
Get fuel
Put in ECU
Put in g/box oil. |

b) Change the exhaust
c) It beeped

A) It starts fine everytime now!
B) Cannae be arsed with the hassle!
C) Dont know wtf that was lol, but its the 1st time it did it, and the only time it did it, ive never heard it again.

Right, engines out again to replace the 2 blown core plugs! and to investigate the worrying knock it had. |
