Lo,
Am about to fit the head gasket to a Williams 2L 16V, the new one however from Ktec doesn't allow for one of the water channels on the dizzy side of the head..should i drill a hole to allow for this, as the other gasket had a hole, and the holes are also present in the head and block.
Not sure whether the previous gasket was right or not, or by drilling the whole i would damage any kind of sealing on the gaskety although it would be in a safe area..
Anyone come across this??

yeah the tab is at the front i have matched the old and the new up exactly and it is different, and as i said one of the water ways coming up the side of the block into the head on the gearbox side is being stopped by the gasket, where as it is open on the old.

Ktec are useless and over charge by a mile. Go buy the right gasket.
I mind a batch of hg's I got for the cvh's didn't have a fire ring round the cylinders, apparently 600 gaskets were affected, not any use but just thought I'd menition it. |
