lo everyone,
so am wondering which feul rail to use and am leaning towards the 19 system firstly because it actually looks better than the Williams 2L 16 fuel rail, and secondly it means I can match and use more bits from the 19, as a whole making it easier to plug it all in.
pictures are attached of both, can people have a look and give me some advice?
are there any differences that have been noticed in the two rails as far as flow, or power are concerned?
the pipe from the left hand side to the cold start injector on the willy rail by the way, comes out instead on the 19 rail straight underneath where the left hand fuel line goes in. again seems much more tidy.
also i'll probably use the orange injectors from the williams engine, rather than the blue, as someone mentioned the orange have more flow apparently???

i think youve got those labelled the wrong way round, standard 19 rail is metal, williams is plastic.
Dont worry about the cold start injector, its not really needed anyway unless youre living in northern scandinavia or somewhere.
Anyway, i would personally try to use as much of the williams fuelling system as you can. |

hmm strange, never seen a placcy fuel rail like that, assumed it must be the williams one.
the one you say is the williams one looks identical to every standard 19 one i have ever seen, so functionally, there is probably no difference; use whichever is easiest to connect up.
Definately use the williams injectors though. |

i seen the metal one on both 19s and willys...
as i said on the other forum....use which ever you want. both will do the same job! which ever suits you...there is no benefit over either. theres plenty of flow thru both (assumin their both working) |

its true both should be the same and if you need to increase flow you simply increase the pressure
ever thought about 21 T injectors and then getting remapping to suite ? or would that in conjunction with a adjustable pressure valve be stupid amounts of fuel, comparred to the amount of air its getting |

unless you increase engines requirement for fuel why would you stick larger injectors on it? remapping it would involve reducing the amount of fuel the injectors put in cos they are bigger! |

tell me why you would want more fuel in there to the extent of needing larger injectors? |

Anyway I'd use the the willy rail. its metal and it can be blinged right up, oh how vain am I.
But both do the same job. |
