ok ive been pulling out the sound system from my spare 19. Now i know approximately bugger all about car stereos, but its quite clear that these speakers etc are a LOT better than the crappy ones i have in mine at the mo.
those are the ones from the doors
those ore from the rear bits either side of the parcel shelf
and thats what was in the boot
In the front on the dash, were these
accompanied by
whats that thing do, and hows it meant to be connected up (before i pull it all apart)?
Cheers me dears[/img] |

wah just whack the speakers into your car....it had an amp didnt it? use that for the sub if u want it...unless u want booming nova boy "choones" the headunit with those speakers will be perfectly adequate IMO
i have either kenwoods or pioneers all round just driven off the HU and a small sub driven off a small amp in the boot...the sub isnt for gut wrenching bass just normal bass which makes any sounds more quality sounding...if that makes sense. not tinny in otherwords |

crossover basically gets the full signal from the head unit then splits it up, mid and bass to the door speaker and the treble to the tweeters.
Those speakers are good.
The kenny's less so.
Subs alright, nothing special. |

should be.
red wires got the tweeter and door speaker, you will also find they are wired out of phase. The crappy thing brown wires with crimped on spades are oe ren wires. |
