on diaologies part ref says 19 clutch, 16V clutch is listed as a renault 5 clutch.
but if its fits a 1.8 then yes it'll do the 16V. |

looks like a bargain jonnyboy.
it is actually a r19 1.8 8v clutch ? so i believe this means a r19 16 v clutch will fit the 1.8 8v with no problems .
then whats the difference between 2 clutches ? ? lifetime ? performance ?? etc ?????? |

difference between the clutches and this is what will be officially stated the take up springs will be a different rate, the cover will have a higher clamping force and the lining may be uprated.
In reality they are probably the same.
the 1.4's etc use 180mm clutch whereas the 1.7's and up use a 200mm clutch. |

so what u are saying is the one for the 16v is made of gold and the one for the 8v is made of dog poo ?
so if i get a 16v clutch on my 8v it will just last longer but wont be any difference with the drive and it will fit as the 8v clutch would ,yes? |

and now for the exciting pics....
please note i am a little concerned about the bearing...looking directly into it the splnied hole int he centre appears off centre to the metal bearign around it....the splined hole, part of the housing, is plastic...
its all valeo, with ren numebrs all over it so it looks genuine enough...
will compare to another maybe. |
