hopefully you will be able to see these pics of my 16v, i bought her from a salvage yard in leeds a year age and have scoured the freeads and ebay for parts to get her to the condition shes in now. Just had a head gasket change and scorpion stainless system put on. I need to drop the back but im not 100% sure how to so any advice would be appreciated

cheers for that mate since them pics i have delocked the boot and fitted a solonoid to the lock. looks nicer with a smooth boot |

You should lower the torsion bar mate, looks like it is sitting a tad high at the rear.... very clean through out! |

Yeah nice one mate, like the D.T.M's not too sure about the half stoned look tho i used to have a set of them eyebrows on my white 19, i bought them and put them on in the car park after leaving the shop then got on the motorway to head home, after reaching around 125 not one but both at the exact same time decided to take thier leave they both shot directly upwards into the air i could see them ever so breifly through the sunroof before having to get my eyes back on the road, when i managed to stop and check if it was them all i was left with was the little velcro so called fastening pads |

what was wrong with it when you got it?

It was stolen recovered mate, advert said needs new steering lock, wheels and steering wheel, bonnet, headlight, plus odd trim. what it did not mention was big fuck off hole in the gearbox  so i got a smashed up phase 2 k plate in white and swapped the engine and box over and all the parts i needed. got the bonnet and front wings and the stainless scorpion system from ebay. |
