right, im a bit confused here. What ill do is put down what ive been able to gather, and if you know different, please correct me:
3 types of RS clio...172mk1, 172mk2, 182
172mk1 = normal cable throttle
172mk2 = drive by wire throttle + some kind of integration with the plip/immobiliser etc
182 = same as 172mk2, diff engine map
is that about the size of it? |

Its safe to assume theres 101 different ECU's, all with plip/immob integration |

no plip is the key for the doors, silences the alarm which is part of the ECU setup thus integrated.
The clios use standard keys and they have transponders as well.
I wouldn't bother with the 172 ECU. |

ud need the all the key codes as well i think, as the 172 ECU has built in alarm/immpbiliser. somthing like that anyways. use a custom mappable setup, like lumenition, efi, motec, etc

ahha... just as i expected... you boyos are more helpful then cliosport and RSC put together
I was planning on using megasquirt anyway, but thought the standard ECU might save a lot of faffing by having it running ignition... looks like it would cause it now. |
