Hi

Thought long and hard about the problems this ren 19 1.9TD has been having.

I renewed the battery connection as chris suggested.

No Better.

So i thought that renewing the glow plugs might solve the problem. This is what i found!!

Ive managed to renew the 2 on the right hand side of the fuel pump etc but how the hell do i get the other two??

Theres fuel lines etc in the and theres only 1/2 inch to work in??

liek I said in the other post take the fuel lines off, 5min extra.

If it is then ill do it!!! As youve probably found out the only car knowledge ive got you could write on a stamp!!!

Oh and i got 6 on that quiz that was posted!! and 3 on the cryptic quiz Smile

aye an extra 5 mins to the job but it makes it possible!

You will lose a bit of diesel but it won't explode out and cut the car/you in half or anything, be just a dribble. crack the lines to the injectors open let the diesel run out, paper towels the best way to soak it up to avoid oily smells.

Then just undo em and lift them over and jobs a good un.

eroded away, happens all the time. Most come out like that after being in too long.

dont know.

They look at felt as if they had never been changed in 12 years since the car was made. Both of the ones i removed where exactly the same????

Do what Chris said, take the fuel return line off, I managed to get them all out by just doing that and using a very small spanner and my fingers, very fiddly, still didnt sort my cold start problem though.
