i noticed in your report about gettin the heated mirror working again....
how well does everyones work....i find mine are pretty shit to be honest....they hardly do anything....if they are misty/foggy like dew...then they take ages to clear...and i think they clear more due to the car movement/air etc rather than the heater element...i just get the edge around the mirror slowly clearing away...but not worth it in my opinion |

yours aren't working right. Mine is a bit cack but the meganes and the lagunas are great as were my old hatches.
Couple of seconds and they were all clear |

you could always just drink some lemon juice let it digest for a day then pee on them????
At least then youd be original in your application.

i hope you are not using the same method changing your oil, water and spark plugs. you might be fine drinking antifreeze and oil up to some extent but surely the spark plugs will hurt trying to get them out my jolly spammer man |

all you go to do is to pull it out ,the best way i know is sticking some strong tape on it evenly and pull out that way . |

to be honest with you i broke my drivers side mirror the same way before having the experience ,but then i found out those 2 electric motors were knackard and i would not be able to adjust the mirror at all. so i bought a mirror from factors and stuck it there using silicone, its a non adjustable mirror at the moment but does the job.
i will need the whole drivers side mirror assembly at some point. |
