dont worry guys, I'm not into mad bodykits or excessive styling, quite the opposite. I'm looking for somewhere that can fit a boot solenoid or similar contraption to the tailgate lock so I can have my bodyshop remove the lock and badges and smooth everything off. Most places I've been to say that because its a push in release its not going to be possible, but ive seen it done.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

its a push in button but it pushes down a lever to pop it open. So you need to mount a solenoid vertically on it to pop it. Take the back panel off and you will see what I am talking about. |
