Got a pair of rear dampers from a valver kindly fitted by Chris H yesterday, the difference is incredible, it feels like a different car, so much more stable on the motorways and I no longer get sea sick on the bends, feels much better on rough roads even though they are stiffer - can't wait to do the fronts next
After a ride in Chris's valver, I was feeling a bit dissapointed with my weedy SPI but this has cheered me up no end!
I'm well pleased with them - many thanks again Chris |

good stuff mate. Glad they were as good as you had hoped.
They were quite a bit stiffer than your old ones.
I have managed to banish 90% of the air from my cooling system today, as you saw yourself it plays up a bit! |

I am currently swapping looms and dashes in the red car.
the dampers you have were meant for the red car. jumping and out of the car is showing how knacked they are, 3 bounces before it settles! Might stick your old ones on mine to get it through an mot before I get newish 16V ones.
Your system needs a good flush matey, i would expect a lot of crap to come out of it. |

Sorry to ruin your master plan
My old ones were ok at my mot so should do you fine for a temp measure.
Will get the nose out at the week end (ooo errr ) and flush out the cooling system - will have a go at the header tank with bleach as well to try and get rid of the rust stains.
Got one of those ripspeed induction kits yesterday after hearing yours!
Weather was too crap to fit it though - that'll have to wait for the weekend as well now. |

The IK will fit on but I have a metal ring which gives decent support for the kit to mount to. B&Q will have suitable drain pipes etc to use, or you could get soem from work I'm sure. Its not a must have but I prefer to have it.
i'll measure it for you tomorrow.
Weather here has been very good actually. |

yesterday was nice but it get's dark so early this time of year I've no time to fit it other than at the weekend
Shouldn't have a problem getting hold of a bit of pipe, the measurement would be useful Chris if you can get it - cheers. |

Aye - it's a wee bit blowy - there' one of these tower cranes a hundred meters from our office and it's swaying considerably - a bit worrying as we are in direct line if it comes down |

Should be safe - it's in the underground car park, so unless the whold building collapses it'll be fine.
If the building collapses then I won't be in much of a condition to drive anyway as I'm on the top floor! |
