Well I'm a dad.
Oh yes we have 2 young, lithe sprightly young things.
Ones called Salt the other Peppar , yes Salt'n'Peppar
Salt
Peppar
Pictures are crap but you get the gist.
Ones a goldfish (Salt) the other is a Calico Granda (Peppar).
Last night was their first in their new home. Salt being bigger than Peppar was biting him, Peppar eventually retaliates and bites back. i have threatened them with getting flushed down the loo but they ignored me. if they don't settle down a bit more then one will need to get changed or somehting.
Peppar is intresting as hes nearly see through.
Salt is much bigger and looks like a proper fish, he can accelerate quickly in the bowl to.
Need to get some better pics. |

lol
I used to have tropical fish when I was young. We had all the gear massive tank etc. lot of money for a nice thing to look at.
She just wanted pets and wanted a kitten but I said no so fish it is. Low maintenence, you can look at them and so on.
Cheap and cheerfull, no need to worry about them gettint run over etc etc
Its not a hobby its a living ornament. |

I used to have stick insects, never bred though, just died as well. Got them off a mate in school who has also ended up with about 500 of them. |

I used to keep some weird creatures as well.
Like crayfish! Fish them out of the local river when i was 10! Then there was the stick insects as above, used to have a 4ft fish tank that had about 50 in it. except....... the roof fell in on the tank whilst i was asleep and they escaped around the house!! Mum was not to pleased!!
Then i had goldfish, tried tropicals but killed them!! They where fine, easy, had a cat fish to called blue cause he was a giant blue crested. he grew to about 18 inches, then killed the fish! I took him down to the local river and released him.
2 years on there was a headline in the local rag about a giant blue catfish terrorising the local river and killing the fish and ducks??!!! MMMMMMMM
Hence i never said a thing. |

my sister's got two funny Guinea pigs and for the last year or so I have had to joy of taking care of them. oddly enough, the black one is named Picachu and the other is called Bright. not that they would react when their names are being called though....
you can teach them quite a lot of tricks, provided you always give them some food in exchange...

Naughty boy Chris, you shouldn't keep Oranda's with Goldfish! That's why your Goldfish is being a bugger to the other one! |

Ma mate when i was in the Army used to have black Scorpion's, used to feed them insect's, the female had babies and they all ate them (the Scorpion's, not ma mate's ) but the funniest thing was when we where all drunk one night and ma mate decide's to take one of them out the glass cage and hold it, he's acting all cool saying he'll be fine then it runs up his arm to his neck and adopt's the "am gonna sting you position" , at this point he stopped acting cool and proceeded to shit himself and was screaming for us to get it off .........us being drunk thought this was halarious and told him to fcuk off
Another time he did get stung though on the hand and his whole arm swelled up and went a funny colour for a few days |

18 was the oldest cat we had. I used to torment the thing when I was wee, so much so it went to my grans to live for about 6 years then we got him back.
Was few years older than me, named Tweaky cos Buck Rogers was new on the telly at the time! lol
the 2 we have are about 8 or so just now. |
