well any car has grp N suspension. Whats group N? yes thats right production suspension. |
not quite. Gr. N is modified production material. the new Evo VIII Gr. N for example has a fully adjustable suspension, roll cage and various other mods intended for racing purposes. it also costs well over 100k €, compared to about 40k € for the standard version.
so, Gr. N is production-based, but certain modifications are allowed. |

That'll be a ph1 mate, that is the way the spoilers came from Renault, the rear lights are also different on the ph1's, as with the dashboard, the ph 2 and 3's where slightly different, the spoiler looks more like a 19 spoiler, the rear lights are more up to date and the dash is better, the ph1 does not have the reflector section on the boot where as the ph2 does (abit like ph1 and ph2 19's) the engine although all 2ltr turbo's where slightly different aswell, ph1 and 2 had distributors but the ph3 had a dizzieless engine, and later 2's and 3's had cats.
He drives a red one, but sometimes a silver one too, i think he had a white one a while back, dont know if he still owns it, to be honest there is a few 21toc members in wales dotted all over the place so you might see a few now and then mate. |

There is alot of guys do there own little touches to them, so maybe it was modded abit then, but the ph1 spoiler does connect at the boot at either side as standard.
There is always a debat in the 21toc about what is the nicest 21t, the ph1 or 2 ...but of course there is no contest .......its the ph2/3 lol |

Roddy. The ph1 21T, was the only one with an all alloy engine, as well as a few other better mods. ph2/3 have a steel two piece sump, Larger belhousing, Cable clutch "not Hydraulic". The car rides higher and weighs more. Look beyond the looks of all the 21T's and you will find the best kit on the ph1. We all have our favourites but the spec speaks for its self.
I know which one I like best.
Andie. |
