seriously though, email him and try and put him off by saying something like "you do know its a UK voltage one so you wont be able to plug it in and it a UK region one so you wont be able to play any games on it? dont worry though, i wont mind if you dont want it anymore"

Anyway you can do something about it. Your auction clearly states post to UK only, so youre well within your rights to cancel the sale.

come on guys open your eyes ,he has got no feedback for a start and he obviously is not that stupid to not to figure out the item is in the uk. he is taking the piss . can you believe someone paying 255quid for a cyrstal xbox plus the postage??? it costs nearly 100quid to have the box posted to usa with a courier . he done it deliberately ,its fun for some people i suppose .

well has he contacted you since it ended? maybe he didnt realise it was in the uk...send him an email sayin that it is in the uk will cost him X to get to usa...does he want it yes or no?

if u get no reply either stick it back up with a big note sayin gUK ONLY or try contacting the 2nd highest bidder....

after i have seen these 2 emails when i came home ,i sent him a kind email saying that he is the highest bidder and asked for the payment and sent him an invoice which came out to 355quid with p&p .
have not received anything since that (last night 22:30)

there were only 2 bidders on the item ,the other one is from uk but i can understand him going up to 250 quid either as he obviously would know he could buy a cyrstal xbox for less than that easily . this all looks like a set up to me .these fellas seem to have just had some fun ,by the way yes i sent the second high bidder an email saying that the high bidder is in usa and i will be sending him a second chance offer soonest .just waiting at the moment .

some people are really so stupid on ebay ,thats true . i have seen a few second hand boxes going for over 160quid+20/30quid p&p lately while you might as well buy it from a shop for 130 in box brand new Smile

have never heard of bidpay myself jonnyboy,it sounds well dodgy anyway.

i did send him an email ,still waiting for a decent reply in proper english and i am not going to mess with this for long .i will also report him to ebay as a non paying buyer if he does not contact in the next 2 days which is a fair punishment even if he is just stupid. which also means he will get away with it .

thats life i suppose ,never mind i won dialogys at the end of the day Very Happy

if you can, try and get ebay to cancel the whole thing off and allow you to relist due to breach of the terms of the auction. Otherwise, youll still have to pay the listing fee for the item, and the nob american will probably leave you bad feedback.
