i had one of those as a kid JB! was made by Revell, just called the 'Visible V8'.
Was a shite model tho... very brittle plastic too. |

btw on topic the pic of the predator model already painted required every single dreadlock to be glued onto the head....that was time consuming |

Nice detailing on the predator model!
A friend of mine did his degree in model design, made a big AT-AT walker from scratch. Pretty cool. I guess that must give a real sense of achievement! |

he did it at the same uni as I went to (Uni of Hertfordshire), i live with him now. He currently works at GKN aerospace composite technologies... same place as me... i got him a job LOL |

a plastic model mind u....it works cos u turn a handle and all the bits rotate etc....
mind u a model V8 on your desk that actually fires up wud be a pretty good toy eh!
anyone ever see that program many moons ago about some rich git who built a model ferarri about 3 foot long....every single component was replicated in pure detail....the engine worked and sounded like a mini ferarri....un-feckin-believable |

extremely too much....think he owned some large manufacturing company so he had all the equipment to his disposal....
it started by a mini key about 5mm long.....and he was blippin the throttle pedal to make it rev.....awesome! |

yeah that guy is very well known in 3D heli flying. He's only about 17 iirc! Extremely talented!
Those Raptor 90s are ace. Was going to get a Raptor 30 a couple of years back. |
