so the wir running up to the stalk is the positive...where can i find this wire under the bonnet ...erm i guess it runs right up to the horn itself? or a relay?

horns on the front slam panel on the drivers side.
to the lefts the headlight, the 10mm bolt holds the bumper on, the earths are for the lights. The white wire that goes down at the back goes to the horn.
The spade terminal gets covered in crap and corrodes but sometimes th ehorn just dies.
the orions horns dead again. |

i have a new one already to fit....altho it isnt a straight replacement
but i assume that white wire is good to use as that must eb the one bein broken by the switch in the stalk...
ill post my instructions |

aha but it isnt a simple electric horn!
square in middle is a relay...
i can see 87 is obvious
30 51 i guess is just a wire to the +ve batt terminal (preferably with fuse inline)
now would 85 and 86 be basically the "white wire" broken into?
yes its an air horn...gay or nay....its goin on |

Gimme you old horn, or one of them as its twin horns on the 16V's.
Aye to 85/86. They don't run a relay as standard. |

Why not use the ECU live plug near the cambelt cover. |

yeah that 30 51 wire...that has an inline fuse...looks like it wants to be live, prolly permenant innit as the horn always works with engine off. |
