sorry i got all confused i meant the fuel gauge sender unit at the top of the tank,access thru boot,i think the fuel leak is from there cause it seems to come from top of tank and down the side,does this mean its loose or broken seal?? |

like I said in the other thread the tanks corrode. So the tank itself may be holed.
Anyway the sender and pump are seperate and the sender is what the breather pipes go into. So if they are persished then it will leak from there.
The seals just rubber and tends to be alright, well I have never seen a dodgy seal, only the piping or rust.
The wires lie across the top of the tank and rust holes form under the plastic wire sheathing.[/list] |
