Hi all,
My first post for my first problem.
I've got a 19 1.9 Turbo Diesel (RT) and I'm having a problem with heating my car cabin (it' bloody freezing)! The heat out of the holes can be luke warm (and I mean luke) if on speed 1 but speed 2 and 3 it just gets colder (not as cold as the cold setting but still cold). I've had a feel round the matrix and the pipes into it are very warm. I have no leaks that I can see and the expansion tank stays nice and level (within reason). Has the matrix packed up or is there some way of sorting it without resulting in a £300 job or 14 hours of my Dad and I's time. I don't know much about these thongs so laymen's terms wold be appreciated
Many Thanks

air lock I'd go for. Same p[rob on my 16V. Pipes roastign hot, even the side of the matrix scalding hot.
But no hot air, after months of arsing around I managed to bleed it out a bit at a time and the heater started working, everytime more air came out it got a touch hotter.
If its silted up a good flush will help shift some of the crap. |
