I used to play CS extensively too, started when beta 2 came out in fact, that would have been about 97/98. I was involved with an anglo-dutch 'clan' called Gatekeepers of Death (GOD) and even went on a road trip over to holland with my 2 best mates who were also in the clan to get pissed up with the dutch guys in Venlo Smile

Was a right good laugh that weekend...

Also have an even longer history of QuakeWorld fanaticism....

hehe..

well there was a cafe in slough..@cyberweb it was called, used to play for them. thay hosted the biggest cs torni every year...CPL it was called

best players in the wolrd turned up.

we didnt win tho
came 5th out of 12

so not to bad

VGA is what we used to play in..won it one year. Â£3,000 Smile

i had NO life tho..it was come from school, straight to the cafe. stay there untill 10. go home.

do the same until fri..stay there fri-sun

come home..

this was years ago was 15 i think..so nearly 5 years ago :/ (cs 1.2-1.4, for those of you that know)

didnt like being a geek..

so stopped, only recentlly started playing Razz

Day of Defeat is by far better i think.

if anyone has steam..get that. and i shall whip your arse...er i mean, give you a game Smile

im not much into games...certainly not pc ones as i have a shit pc. bot mmy xbox tho...i wud quite like trying halo online...as i like that....but even just in the house u can have up to four players....also you can do the game co-operatively..thats cool as im shit and couldnt finish it on my own

Only Live game I have at the moment is Star Wars Battlefront. That's quite good fun.

i have halo2 its pritty good on-line im shit at it, one game i mainly play is project gotham racing2, and pro evo4.

i havent tried it yet

have to figure out how to turn chip off to let me go online...but then i dont think i can run the game as i dont have them on disk....not that fussed but i think i wud enjoy it...
