What is the standard BHP of a 16 valver ?
I believe it's in the region of 137bhp?
My phase 2 has been superchipped (by a previous owner) and was rolling road tuned by Clive Atthowe Tuning in Norwich.
I have all the power graphs and ignition test paperwork and with the chip the BHP is recorded at 144 bhp @ 6985 RPM, max torque - 126 lbft @ 4445 rpm, so we are only looking at a 7BHP increase from a well known powerchip supplier.
With a decat pipe and induction kit the previous owner of my R19 claimed it was at 160bhp but there is no paperwork to proove it so we shall see once i have decatted it and put on a IK.
When you rolling roaded yours and got 150+ bhp from it, was it just the chip or anything else on the car such as decat or IK ? |
