well it's gone again.
diff circlip has popped for the 3rd time in less than 3 months!
gonna source a gearbox for it and it that does not sort it, expect to see a phase 1 16V advertised on here soon for breaking! |

Well seeing as you have nothing to lose get a mobile welder man to weld the circlip in place.
never know might sort you out properly. |

hmmmmm, might it also be an idea to cut off the tab on the thrust washer before welding in the circlip as you said in a previous post that the sunwheel grabs the thrust washer which forces the circlip to pop.
to prevent the thrust washer just getting shattered once the circlip is welded in u need it to rotate if the sunwheel grabs it.
but yes good idea, certainly easier to weld it then changing out the box. |
