saw a thread on cliosport about this that reminded me.
www.rallyofkent.co.uk
takes place in Bedgebury Forest in Kent on the 20th March this year.
Just happens to be a shortish walk away from my parents' house.
Anyone else interested? |

This is news to me - seriously you're welcome to tag along sometime.
The dates for the scottish championship are:
Arnold Clark Thistle Snowman Rally (Inverness)- February 19
Brick & Steel Border Counties Rally (Jedburugh)- March 19
Granite City Rally (Aberdeen) - April 16
RSAC Scottish Rally (South West, Dumfries, Kielder etc.) - June 12
Jim Clark Reivers Rally (Dunns) - July 10
Little the Jewellers Speyside Stages (Aviemore) - August 20
Park Systems Furniture Stages (Dumfries)- September 10
Colin McRae Forest Stages (Perth) - October 1
I'd definatley reccomend the McRae as it's not too far away and a rare chance to see Colin, Alastair & Jimmy McRae going head to head! |

The best part about radio marshalling is getting to drive the stages which is great fun if a bit hard on the car - this is a photo taken on the Park rally 2002 which is known for being particularly rough:
The mini is mine and the two rally cars are two of the many that didn't make it throught the stage.
At least the 19 has better ground clearence than the mini did
