I'm bored, waiting to be picked up.
I have a gasket to make. I saved the frosties box from the bin and I'm going home to cut it into a gasket for the cam cover on the white one. I will takle pics, last gasket I made from a cereal box was a gear box end plate gasket on a cavalier.
Watched Constantine today, ok but not the best film i have seen. |

because I don't have any and I have a great hate of using sealant where it shouldn't be used.
The last muppet (round the corner) stuck a new gasket on with sealant. Also used a few bolts that were to short and theres sealant stuck in the threaded holes to hold th ecam cover on. I still need to clear the rest of the crap off the carriers and cam cover so it will seal right.
Also cos its a ph1 19 and I haven't fitted a rain shield its easier to remove the came cover to get rid of the oil and water thats in there. |

the frosties box is thicker than the actual gasket you get. Does the job, its not a permanent solution, just temporary, howeve rif it behanes it will probably become permanent!
Yes they are set to A in the bios, troubel is they go so far and 1 has linux on it despite me messing around formatting the drive and fdisk crap (talking the HD here) but it doesn't like it. Also I can't seem to get any OS that actually works properly, every cd is wrong or ther 5th floppy is dodgy and so on. |

Yeah, I always had that problem with the floppy disks. The only way I found worked with out one borking was to use brand new ones. I have actually removed my floppy drive now as all the operating systems I have on CD boot from the CD. Much easier and quicker. I have made myself a self booting XP Pro CD with service pack 2. Could always send one to you if you have an XP code? |

When I got the car I fitted a cambelt, and I fitted it properly.
Now its since been replaced and I meant to check it was put on right, well it loosk liek the inlet cams 1 tooth advanced
So I am about to sort it out and fit my cereal gasket and we shall see what happens! |
