is this disc fit for use? chariot has been making a rubbing sound from the rear for a few days. inspected, and brake pads are bald and disk has this crack in it. Is it just a surface blemish or is it buggered? someone said its warped thats why it was making a rubbing but im sure chris mentioned they dont warp. i stand to be corrected there tho.
also, silly question, the other disc and pads on the back are fine so is it safe to renew one disk and pads all round coz i am broke.

they don't warp. it does happen but I have yet to see a warped disc, they come in and when spun on a lathe they vary in thickness but thats a fittign fault.
Anyway get another PAIR of discs. That crack will grow and it will seperate from the bell. |
