Hi Friends, Just want to say to Chris - what a brilliant article on re-coding the plip keys!
I have just one question for the board members and the mods, Renault (ilford, or london) will NOT give me the code for my car no matter what I say or do (even thought they have robbed me of nearly £300 over the last 2 years for the same 'plip' problems).
Is there any way I can get the code for the key/immobilizer without going throught ren-no!
I have the key numbers etc as per Chris's article.
Thanks to everyone once again for this amazing site and the help it provides. |

Thanks for the reply Chet T16, They are saying there is NO code for the car (hence nothing the legal system can do)
They claim that codes come out AFTER my car?!?
I have a p reg (96 or could be 97) Megane 1.4rt |

Of course, they lie. That way they rip you off for a lot of money.
Or, maybe (just maybe) but highly unlikely, they are incompetent.
Every authorised Renault service can use Renault phone support.
They just dial the number they have got from Renault, then they are directed to enter your car's chassis number, and have automatic response with 4 digit code for your blip key. |
