Car back from garage but still AC is not working. Light comes on when you press the button but no air con.
Can someone tell me how to check the level of the AC? or is this a pro job only?
Also, when you switch the AC on, I understnad the center of one of the flywheels engages and turns. Which one is this? Can you see under the bonnet? Is it the bottom one? |

yes the pulley should lock when the A/C is engaged, which one is it? Cannae mind off the top of my head mate. It differs on the engine fitted as well.
If it engages there will be a drop in idle speed for a split second.
I can;t remember if the scenic will even have a sightglass or the new style only 1 socket to fill and drain the system.
TBH leave A/C work to the specialists, you can however tackle wiring issues etc yourself |
