Sorry if this sounds REALLY stupid, but do you need a spare wheel to pass an MOT?
I ask because I have my 4 17's and I wanted to check the spare for the first time before the MOT in May and to my suprise the whole thing was rusted through and the tire was bald I don't know how this thing was legal. I then realised that the wheel cage was nackered so I have taken it off.
If I need a spare I will get 5th alloy and put a cover on it and leave it in the boot so it doesn't get ruined.
Any advice? |

its not needed and apparently the new MOt rule changes mean that if a spare is fitted it no longer has to be legal! This is according to my tester, although I dunno how accurate it is! |
