trying to get a part number for the rubber seal on the p1 bonnet vent...
when u take the vent out there is a large rubber seal all the way round it...it looks as tho it is holding a pair of threaded inserts at the frt too...
cant seem to find it in dialogys, there is some number for some seal which i have ordered from renault but i dont think it is the one...esp when i just rung and they said yes ur tiny little seal is in...doesnt sound promising..
any one able to help?

all it says on the seal is VIC4 which does not look like a renault part number.
whats happened to the existing seal ? ??? |

its a bit tatty...wanted a new one if poss....suppose i can repair it but it would be nice to get a new one if possible. |

thats the one.
the seal is held on all round by the collar thingies that go over the studs. |

This polysulfide rubber is ace for making seals as well, i intend to take the vent off my chammy in the carpark one day and seal around that with it.  |

dialogys is the renault software for parts....u can look up a part u r after and it gives u the renault part number....got handy exploded pics as well.. |
