Hi all
Over the last 3 days my kenwood headunit has gone tits up. My friend has put his Blaupunkt in and now when i turn my side lights on it goes onto "phone" mode and goes quiet.
The stereo was working fine in his nova.
any advice? |

vx wiring is backwards so it'll be mixed up, you normally need to reverse a few wires to fit on the vx's |

Well we just tried his brand new blaupunkt milano and it would only work with my side lights on.
what the hell is going on
i keep gettin shocks from the car aswell.
an earth maybe? |

This has really pissed me off as i cant have any music.
 ARGH!
This is the second stereo in 30mins that goes on "phone" mode, what the hell is phone mode?!?!?!? |

phone mode is when the radio mutes itself.
Are you using a decent ISO? |

the renault one. the wiring has never been changed and this is an unused stereo apart from the 1 week my mate had before he smashed his car up |

well it goes to phone mode on one of them when i put my lights on and the other is backwards. |

All i have changed was the side lights there blue now would that have made it funny? |
