I was washin the car yesterday, and I finished off with a bit of Turtle Wax "Back 2 Black" spray on the bits of plastic trim etc. So anyway, I must have got some of it on my hands.....which I then got on my steering wheel.......cuz I can't grip the damn thing anymore. It's just one big slippery wheel that I can barely hold and so is obviously quite dangerous lol. Any ideas what I could clean the steering wheel with to try and get it off? Make it holdable again? I've got no idea what to try really. Hot soapy water? |

Thinners or White spirit should do the trick, not sure what condition your steering wheel will be in though.
Try a bit on somewhere discrete to see. |

I did think about white spirit yeah, but thought it would make a bit of a mess of the steering wheel. I'll try a lil tiny bit somewhere like y'say |

heavy duty hand cleaning wipes for a pound from cash and carry will do the same job and wont damage the leather either |
